Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

 Shrimp scampi is a restaurant favorite that’s easier than you think to make at home. Bursting with garlic, butter, lemon, and fresh parsley, this dish delivers a flavorful, restaurant-quality dinner in under 20 minutes. Ideal for date nights or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking 1 minute.

  3. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

  4. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.

  5. Toss shrimp with pasta and serve immediately.

  • Add a splash of white wine for a deeper flavor.

  • Use gluten-free pasta for dietary needs.
